Reel Review: The Culpa Nuestra Final Installment Offers A Sentimental Conclusion

After nearly three years, one of Prime Video’s biggest franchises has concluded and we were left absolutely shocked by the events that unravel in Culpa Nuestra (Our Fault)!

The third and final film of the Culpables series is based on the bestselling novels written by author Mercedes Ron. The series follows Noah, a young girl forced to uproot her life to move in with her mother’s new husband and his arrogant yet attractive son, Nick. Together, Nick and Noah must face the past that has left them scarred, in order to move forward together.

Culpa Nuestra sets Nick and Noah, who at the end of the last film are broken up, deeper into adulthood. After a several year break the two reunite by being the maid of honor and best man in their friend’s wedding. It’s apparent from the first interaction that old wounds cut deep, yet Nick and Noah still have a spark that pulls them together.

The final film offers closure between not only Nick and Noah, but also the side characters who we have come to know and love throughout the series. We dive deeper into Noah’s career and death of his mother, as well as receive the biggest plot twist of Noah’s life; she’s pregnant! The chain of shocking events that take place in the film take place one after another and left us completely speechless the entire time.

Returning to Nick and Noah’s characters are Gabriel Geuvara and Nicole Wallace, who have some of the most passionate on-screen chemistry we have ever seen! The talented duo has created an incredible dynamic that only gets stronger throughout these films and it is apparent up until their final moments on screen together.

The film honored the books while adding new twists and turns for returning readers! Culpa Nuestra offered a sentimental conclusion but not before delivering catchy songs, iconic car chases, weddings, and even a kidnapping! The film lives up to the franchise’s hype, and for fans of this story, there is still more to come!

While the Spanish version has officially concluded, fans of the series were given a new version of the adaptation with My Fault London that premiered earlier this year. Now it is official that two more films will follow with Your Fault and Our Fault.

While it seems that there is more story to tell in London, Spanish Nick and Noah finally got their ending! Culpa Nuestra is available to stream on Prime Video now!
