The 2026 Internet Boyfriends Are Already Stealing Our Hearts

Oh my parasocial internet boyfriends! Let’s be real, guys, we all have them. 2026 has barely begun, and social media is already buzzing over both old and new internet boyfriends. Let’s talk about the internet boyfriends that are taking over January.

Steve “The Hair” Harrington- Joe Keery

Steve, my love! Steve Harrington stole hearts in 2016, and the world has simply never recovered. The actor-turned-rockstar Joe Keery, musically known as Djo, has been out and about since November 2025 for Stranger Things 5 press, and he hasn’t stopped yet! His latest appearance, presenting an award with Charli XCX at the Golden Globes, sent the internet swooning. Joe might be done playing Steve Harrington, but he’s not done playing with our hearts anytime soon.

The Heated Rivalry Heartthrobs- Connor Storie and Hudson Williams

I know absolutely nothing about hockey, but I know amazing chemistry when I see it. Connor Storie and Hudson Williams are ruling 2026 thanks to the massive success of Heated Rivalry, a story about two hockey rivals turned secret lovers. The romance series has sent the internet into a frenzy and has been renewed for a second season. As fans await season two, it’s safe to say these two new internet boyfriends will take over Hollywood even more.

The Castle Bad Boy- Rob Rausch

The Love Island superstar, Rob Rausch returned to television screens this year as a murderer! Okay, not literally a killer (unless you count his drop-dead good looks). Everyone’s favorite snake wrangler is one of the devious Traitors killing Faithfuls in this season of Peacock’s The Traitors. He’s doing a great job of his murders going unnoticed in the castle, but that doesn’t mean anyone can take their eyes off him! He’s a stone-cold killer right now, but we could fix him!

That Charming Man We Met on Vacation- Tom Blyth

Thank god it’s finally socially acceptable to crush on a Tom Blyth character without questioning your own sanity! Tom Blyth first stole hearts when he played a young President Snow in The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. He was charismatic and charming until he showed his true colors as an evil dictator. Hate when that happens! Blyth plays Alex Nielsen in the film adaptation of Emily Henry’s romantic comedy novel, People We Meet On Vacation. All I can say is, thank you, Netflix, and thank you, Emily Henry.

Tell a friend to tell a friend, he’s back! - Harry Styles

Rejoice! Everyone’s rock star boyfriend has finally returned. After a hiatus, Harry Styles is releasing new music on March 6. After teasing fans for weeks with mysterious websites, a video of him playing the piano, and the phrase "We Belong Together” taking over the world, Styles finally confirmed that his fourth studio album, “Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally.” I absolutely can’t wait to boogie to new Harry songs soon.

The Doctors Are In- The Men of The Pitt

Sorry, McDreamy, there are new hot doctors in town! Season two of HBO Max’s The Pitt is here, and fans are swooning over the doctors so much that they might need medical attention! Noah Wylie leads the series as Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch. He is joined by a handsome medical team, including Patrick Ball, Gerran Howell, and Shawn Hatosy. As queasy as this show makes fans feel, it makes up for it by giving them butterflies, too.
