Ranking Sofia Carson’s Netflix Universe Filmography

Sofia Carson is a talented actress that has been expanding her own universe for years now in various Netflix roles. With each performance, Carson has delivered romance, emotional turmoil, and action packed plots to our screens. Starring alongside many talented actors, Carson has created her own memorable universe that we will be breaking down today. Here is our official ranking of Sofia Carson’s Netflix films:

5. Carry On

Carson strayed from her usual romance and coming-of-age genres in 2024 when she starred in Carry On. The thriller tells the story of a young airline security guard being blackmailed by a mysterious stranger to smuggle a dangerous package on board their flight. The film had a good plot and serious action sequences, though Carson’s character Nora wasn’t strong in comparison to others on this list!

4. Feel the Beat

Feel the Beat stars Carson as April, an aspiring Broadway performer, who is forced to return to her small hometown after a bad audition in New York. Now, she must work at her old studio to help young dancers win their dance competition. After getting closer with one of her students’ older brother, April must decide what direction her heart is pulling her in. While the film was cute, Sofia Carson and Wolfgang Novogratz’s chemistry is what completes it!

3. My Oxford Year

Carson’s newest role as Anna in My Oxford Year touched everyone’s heart with its heartbreaking story. Moving to London to attend Oxford, the last thing Anna expects is to fall in love with her literature professor, Jamie (Corey Mylchreest). After discovering that Jamie is battling with cancer, the two embark on a journey filled with heartbreak, hope, and ultimately love. Get your tissues, because My Oxford Year will have you crying and holding your loved ones extra tight.

2. The Life List

Another emotional story Carson brought to life was in The Life List. After the loss of her mother, Alex finds herself on a scavenger hunt to complete the list that her mother left for her in order to unlock her inheritance. Finding love is the least of her concerns, until Alex starts getting closer to her mother’s lawyer, Brad (Kyle Allen). This movie was beautiful, funny, and emotional in all the right ways! Carson and Allen’s chemistry and banter were adorable, but there is one movie that tops even this one for us!

1. Purple Hearts

Cassie, a diabetic and aspiring musician, agrees to marry a Marine, Luke, in order to gain the health care she needs. Cassie and Luke’s story is definitely the most unique and memorable of the list. Purple Hearts is a classic enemies to lovers and marriage of convenience; but it goes far deeper into real world problems that people face every day. With Sofia Carson and Nicholas Galitzine as our leads, the film quickly became a comfort and one of our all time favorites!

All of the above films are available to watch now on Netflix!
