Reel Review: Season 2 of My Life With the Walter Boys Will Leave You in Shock

Jackie has finally reunited with the Walter family in the crazier new season of My Life With the Walter Boys!

Season 2 of the beloved Netflix series picks up where we left off after Jackie runs back to New York in order to forget about her conflicted feelings between Walter brothers, Alex and Cole. Only now, she must return to the small town of Silver Falls in order to clean up the mess she left behind and face the boys who stole her heart.

Nikki Rodriguez, Noah LaLonde, and Ashby Gentry reprise their roles to continue the epic love triangle and deliver on over the top performances! While the dynamic of their characters have shifted slightly and matured, Jackie can’t shake off her feelings for both brothers. LaLonde and Gentry showcase their sibling-like banter while also maintaining the tension that comes with falling for the same girl.

Apart from our main iconic love triangle, this season highlights new romances and offers new characters that come to shake things up! With Alex training to become a professional horse-rider, sparks fly between him and his new trainer. And with an unsteady future for Cole, he starts to rely on the football team when he takes on the new coaching position! Overall, we see lots of growth from both brothers throughout the season; making Jackie’s decision a difficult one.

Another big conflict this season comes from the leaders of the Walter family, Katherine and George. With their ranch struggling financially, they need to find a way to renovate their land before losing it for good. Sarah Rafferty and Marc Blucas are the perfect parents to these crazy kids and together, they can solve almost any problem.

Season 2 really leans into its country roots as well; showcasing different events like rodeos, line dances, and even a Halloween party. This season not only feels elevated with its characters, but also in their storylines; and ultimately, in that absolute crazy twist of an ending!

The long awaited love confession between Jackie and Cole hits us right in our feels in episode 10! LaLonde and Rodriguez’s chemistry is what has made the show and with their dynamic; we can only hope these two are endgame! But of course, the series wouldn’t be without an even more shocking element in the finale.

When an ambulance shows up on the ranch to take the Walter boy’s father, George, we are left with even more questions than before. With elevated storyline and complicated characters, Season 2 of My Life With the Walter Boys will have you screaming and crying, and leave you with your jaw on the floor!

My Life With the Walter Boys Season 2 is available to watch now on Netflix!
